The learning exchange visit of farmers in Cambodia under the Medium Term Cooperation Programme, Phase II (MTCP2-AFOSP-Cambodia

The learning exchange visit of farmers in Cambodia under the Medium Term Cooperation Programme, Phase II (MTCP2-AFOSP-Cambodia) to visit how farmers in Philippine enterprise their produces to markets. The study visits conducted from 15 to 19 of December 2019 from farms to markets, businesses and cooperative banks. Our visitors visited several farms such as organic chicken farms (free chicken and in-farm chicken for eggs and meat), organic vegetable production, warehouse, feedings production, marts, organic coconut sugar production enterprise, cooperative bank and many other types of businesses of the cooperatives in Philippine. During the visits, the farmer delegates got opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences and challenges faced by farmers and farmers’ organisations. After the study visits, our farmer members got ideas for improvement their farming practice and strengthening economic literacy i.e. they will improve production for sale and market supply better in the future.
