The Cambodia National Farmer Platform (CNFP) represented by five national farmers’ organisations had conducted a meeting to study on the UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas

On 8th of August 2019, CFAP’s chairwoman, An Sarun participated in the meeting to study about the UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas came into force in 2018. The meeting aimed to further study to get to know better prior to the dissemination to farmer members and non-members in CFAP’s network in operational areas to get to know more about their rights as farmers, peasants and or people live/work in rural areas. 

This will help farmers, peasants and people live/work in rural areas understand better about their rights, so they can speak for themselves and their communities now and in the future.
