Organic products help smallholders getting better prices

CAM ORGANIC is another agriculture standard among the existing agriculture standards in Cambodia i.e. Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) and the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP).

On 27 October, 2020 CFAP’s managing director was invited to participate in the Launching Workshop on National Organic Technical Guideline and Organic Agriculture Standard “CAM ORGANIC”.

This is another step forward to improve food safety and health of consumers and also providing more competitive opportunity for farmers. However, we realised that applying technical agricultural standards, it is costly for farmers, especially smallholder farmers and it is required external support on technical trainings and resources support included materials to apply a new technical protocol.
