Consultation workshop on drafting of the strategic action plan on agriculture 2019-2023!

On August 12th, 2020 CFAP was invited to participate in the drafting of the five years strategic action plan on agriculture 2019-2023 of the provincial department of agriculture forestry and fisheries (PDAFF), Say Rieng province. The strategic action plan is crucial, not only for the department, but also for farmers, especially smallholders, farming communities and producers’ associations and agricultural cooperatives to keep growth of agricultural development.

The collaboration between the provincial department of agriculture forestry and fisheries and farmers’ association like CFAP will bring more opportunity for smallholder farmers as farmer leaders can provide critical inputs in response to the real needs of farmer members to ensure sustainable agriculture, thus to contribute to the rural economic development. CFAP’s chairwoman, AN Sarun and an Executive Secretary, CHHOEM Phanna participated in the important event.
