SOK Chhorn

Mr. Sok Chhorn, was born in August 1975, he finished a Bachelor degree in the faculty of management and leadership And Agri-Business at Institution of Management and Sciences (IMS) Cambodia since 2005.

He has more than 15 years of working experiences in sustainable social development such as livelihood, regional economic development, Building Disaster Resilient Communities Cambodia, local rights base approach, Empower and Improve livelihood for people with disabilities (PWD). In 2004-2015, he was executive director (ED) of Cambodia Human Resource Development and also 4 years worked with GIZ Cambodia as advisor position, the main features are on rice, cassava, vegetable value chain and organizational development to associations as well as agricultural Cooperatives in 3 respective provinces and he had also used to work in and outside Cambodia country to share the best experiences and good practices of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR/CCA) and disability inclusive.

Recently, he has been working for Cambodian Farmer Federation Association of Agricultural Producers (CFAP) as the value chain investment advisor for the Accelerating Inclusive Market for Small stakeholders (AIMS) for 5 commodities of rice, cassava, chicken, vegetable and silk commodities
