PROMOTE AGROECOLOGY AND REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE TO STUDENTS AND YOUTH!

On 19-20 October 2023, the Cambodian Farmer Federation Association of Agricultural Producers (CFAP Cambodia) as a member of the Agroecology Learning Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) has collaborated with ALiSEA to send two youths come from two different agricultural cooperatives in Cambodia i.e. Chhean Malina and Chheng Tung Heng to participate in the study visits at the Cambodian Conservation Agriculture Research for Development Center (CARDEC) in Kampong Cham province and the Agroecology and Safe Food System Transitions in Cambodia (ASSET)’s Flagship site in Preah Vihear province. There are 17 youths come from CFAP Cambodia, the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), National University of Battambang and NFOs platform in Cambodia.

The field visits aimed to:

• Promote agroecology practices to students and young farmers.
• Share experience and knowledge from field experiments, project implementation to students and young farmers.
• Build the connection between students, young farmers to the training center and agroecology field practices.

The two-day field visits provided opportunity for youth to learn on sites on agroecology included cover crops, soil quality improvement, conservation agriculture, regenerative agriculture and structuration of the farming systems on agroecological practices. They got opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other young farmers and expertises for key takeaways.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី 19-20 ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ 2023 សមាគមសហព័ន្ធកសិករកម្ពុជានៃអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្ម (CFAP Cambodia) ជាសមាជិកនៃសម្ព័ន្ធការសិក្សាកសិកម្មអាក្រូអេកូឡូស៊ីនៅអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ (ALiSEA) បានសហការជាមួយ ALiSEA ដើម្បីបញ្ជូនយុវជនពីរនាក់មកពីសហករណ៍កសិកម្មពីរផ្សេងគ្នានៅកម្ពុជា។ យុវជនចូលរួមរួមមាន ឈាង ម៉ាលីណា និង ឆេង ទុងហេង ដើម្បីចូលរួមទស្សនកិច្ចសិក្សានៅមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលស្រាវជ្រាវកសិកម្មអភិរក្សកម្ពុជា (CARDEC) ក្នុងខេត្តកំពង់ចាម និងតំបន់ផ្លាស់ប្តូរប្រព័ន្ធកសិកម្ម និងសុវត្ថិភាពចំណីអាហារនៅកម្ពុជា (ASSET) នៅខេត្តព្រះវិហារ។

មានយុវជនចំនួន១៧ នាក់មកពី CFAP Cambodia សាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទកសិកម្ម (RUA) សាកលវិទ្យាល័យជាតិបាត់ដំបង និងវេទិកា NFOs នៅកម្ពុជា។ ដំណើរ​ទស្សន​កិច្ច​ក្នុង​គោល​បំណង៖ ផ្សព្វផ្សាយ​ការអនុវត្ត​កសិកម្ម​ដល់​និស្សិត និង​កសិករ​វ័យក្មេង។ ចែករំលែកបទពិសោធន៍ និងចំណេះដឹងពីការពិសោធន៍ផ្ទាល់នៅវាលការអនុវត្តគម្រោងដល់និស្សិត និងកសិករវ័យក្មេង។

កសាងទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងនិស្សិត កសិករវ័យក្មេងទៅកាន់មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលបណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងការអនុវត្តលើវិស័យកសិកម្ម។ ការចុះទស្សនៈកិច្ចរយៈពេលពីរថ្ងៃបានផ្តល់ឱកាសដល់យុវជនដើម្បីស្វែងយល់ពីកសិកម្មអាក្រូអេកូឡូស៊ីមរួមមានដំណាំគម្រប ការកែលម្អគុណភាពដី កសិកម្មអភិរក្ស កសិកម្មបង្កើតឡើងវិញ និងរចនាសម្ព័ន្ធនៃប្រព័ន្ធកសិកម្មលើការអនុវត្តកសិកម្ម។ ពួកគេទទួលបានឱកាសដើម្បីជួបនិងផ្លាស់ប្តូរគំនិតយោបល់ជាមួយកសិករវ័យក្មេង និងអ្នកជំនាញផ្សេងទៀតសម្រាប់ការចាប់យកចំណេះដឹងនិងបទពិសោធន៍សំខាន់ៗ។
