OFFICIAL MEETING BETWEEN CFAP CAMBODIA AND A PROVINCIAL DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF SVAY RIENG PROVINCE

Official Meeting Between CFAP Cambodia and Svay Rieng Provincial Authorities:
On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the Cambodian Farmer Federation Association of Agricultural Producers (CFAP Cambodia), led by Mr. Sok Sotha, Lead founder and Chief Executive, and Mr. Chhoun Sarin, Chairman of the Board, paid a courtesy call and held a working discussion with Mr. Duch Kunthea, Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province. The meeting was also attended by a Deputy Director of the Svay Rieng Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (PDAFF).
During the meeting, Mr. Sok Sotha briefed the Deputy Governor on the background and progress of CFAP Cambodia. Key highlights included: Expansion since its inception in 2002 – starting with just nine producer association members in Svay Rieng province, the federation has grown to include over 40 member organizations across 15 provinces+. He added that CFAP was and is developing the leadership and management capacities of farmer organizations (communities and agricultural producer associations), implementing climate change initiatives, pond construction, net houses, wind fans, and agroforestry programs, researching the feasibility of linking farmers to carbon market projects and participating in the development of policies and laws related to agriculture, rural development, food security, and climate change.
As a member of an executive team of the Agroecology Learning Alliance in Southeast Asia (ALiSEA), CFAP Cambodia informed the provincial leadership of their plan to organize a “Local Products Consumers’ Day” at the Vaiko Riverside in Svay Rieng City this year, the objectives of this event are to: Provide a platform for farmers, producers, and agricultural communities to exchange ideas with stakeholders and the private sector, strengthen cooperation for the buying, selling, and promotion of local products to domestic, regional, and international markets, address economic challenges arising from global geopolitical crises in the Middle East and issues at the Cambodia-Thailand border.
Mr. Duch Kunthea, Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province, welcomed the delegation and praised CFAP Cambodia’s initiatives. He noted that these programs are vital in helping farmers transition from selling raw produces to processing, packaging, and exporting in the future. The Deputy Governor expressed his full support for the Local Products Consumers’ Day, scheduled to be held at the Vaiko Riverside in mid 2026, emphasizing that it will be a significant opportunity to promote local products to consumers widely.

នៅថ្ងៃអង្គារទី៣១ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ នេះ សមាគមសហព័ន្ធកសិករកម្ពុជានៃអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្ម (ស៊ីហ្វាបកម្ពុជា – CFAP Cambodia) ដឹកនាំប្រតិភូដោយលោក សុខ សុថា ប្រធានស្ថាបនិក និងជាប្រធានសមាគម និង លោក ឈួន សារិន ប្រធានក្រុមប្រឹក្សាភិបាលសមាគម បានជួបសំដែងការគួរសមនិងពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយលោក ឌុច គន្ធា អភិបាលរងនៃគណៈអភិបាលខេត្តស្វាយរៀង។ ក្នុងជំនួបពិភាក្សាការងារនោះក៏មានការអញ្ជើញចូលរួមពីលោកអនុប្រធានមន្ទីរកសិកម្មរុក្ខាប្រមាញ់និងនេសាទខេត្តស្វាយរៀងផងដែរ។ លោក សុខ សុថា បានជម្រាបជូនលោកអភិបាលរងខេត្តអំពីសាវតានិងវឌ្ឍនៈភាពការងារសមាគមសហព័ន្ធកសិករកម្ពុជានៃអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្មចាប់តាំងពីការផ្តួចផ្តើមបង្កើតក្នុងអំឡុងឆ្នាំ២០០២ ជាមួយសមាជិកដែលជាសមាគមចំនួនប្រាំបួនក្នុងមួយខេត្ត (ស្វាយរៀង) រហូតដល់បច្ចុប្បន្នមានសរុប១៥ខេត្ត និងជាង៤០ អង្គការសមាជិក ក្នុងគោលបំណងចូលរួមអភិវឌ្ឍសមត្ថភាពដឹកនាំគ្រប់គ្រងអង្គការកសិករ (សហគមន៍ សមាគមអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្ម) កម្មវិធីប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ ស្រះទឹក ផ្ទះសំណាញ់ កង្ហារខ្យល់ ។ល។ កម្មវិធីកសិរុក្ខកម្ម​ ការសិក្សាអំពីលទ្ធភាពក្នុងការភ្ជាប់កសិករទៅក្នុងគម្រោងទីផ្សារកាបូន ចូលរួមធ្វើគោលនយោបាយ និងច្បាប់នានាពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍វិស័យកសិកម្ម ជនបទ ចំណីអាហារ និងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ។
ក្នុងឱកាសនោះផងដែរ សមាគមសហព័ន្ធកសិករកម្ពុជានៃអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្ម (ស៊ីហ្វាបកម្ពុជា – CFAP Cambodia) ដែលជាផ្នែកមួយនៃក្រុមប្រតិបត្តិបណញតាញកសិអេកូឡូស៊ីនៅអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ ALiSEA ក៏បានជម្រាបជូនថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំខេត្តអំពីគោលបំណងនៃការរៀបចំទិវាអ្នកប្រើប្រាស់ផលិតផលក្នុងស្រុកនៅមាត់ទន្លេវ៉ៃកូ ក្នុងក្រុងស្វាយរៀង ខេត្តស្វាយរៀង ដើម្បីផ្តល់ឱកាសឱ្យកសិករដែលជាអ្នកផលិតនិងសហគមន៍ សមាគមអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្ម បានជួបពិភាក្សាគ្នាផ្លាស់ប្តូរមតិយោបល់ជាមួយភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធ និងវិស័យឯកជន ដើម្បីរកវិធីសហការទិញ លក់ និងផ្សព្វផ្សាយផលិតផលក្នុងស្រុកទៅកាន់អ្នកប្រើប្រាស់ ទីផ្សារក្នុងស្រុក តំបន់ និងអន្តរជាតិ ក្នុងគ្រាដ៏លំបាកនៃវិបត្តិភូមិសាស្ត្រនយោបាយពិភពលោកនៅតំបន់មជ្ឈិមបូព៌ា ក៏ដូចជាបញ្ហាព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា – ថៃ ផងដែរ។
