MEETING BETWEEN CFAP, ACORN AND MISTRY SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT!

On February 7, 2023, representatives of the Cambodian Farmers’ Federation Association of Agricultural Producers and AECON Project met with H.E Chuop Paris, Ministry Secretary of State at the Ministry of Environment to discuss and exchange experiences on agroecology between the Ministry of Environment and Acorn project. The two sides exchanged views and shared experiences on past carbon marketing projects and to be implemented with the community and the state public forest in order to better understand each other’s project objectives.

The parties will continue to discuss in the future to cooperate and help Cambodians living in rural areas directly, especially farmers, small producers to have additional income to continue and expand the cultivation of fruit trees and other multi-purpose forest trees for sales. Provide a good family life and livelihoods of the rural communities with sustainability in the future.
