FINAL WORKSHOP OF THE AGROECOLOGY AND SAFE FOOD SYSTEM TRANSITIONS IN CAMBODIA!
From 8-9 of October 2025 as a national policy coordinator of the Agro-Ecology Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) come from the Cambodian Farmer Federation Association of Agricultural Producers (CFAP), we had an opportunity to present our five years’ achievements to the final workshop of the Agroecology and Safe Food System Transitions (ASSET) took place at Battambang province, North West of Cambodia.
ASSET partners and relevant stakeholders/donors such as CASIC-MAFF, EU, AFD, FFEM, GRET, CIRAD, PDAFF-PVH, PDAFF-BTB, ALiSEA including farmers’ organizations, local authorities, service providers and other organizations got opportunity to learn from the achievements of the project. Beside the presentations made by key stakeholders, the participants also had an opportunity to visit the agroecological practices at the fields which farmers grow cover crops with the main crops such as maize, mango, longan and cassava to improve soil quality.
What is the legacy of the project?. Farmers keep continuing and thriving through agroecological practices to improve soil quality naturally for safe, nutritious and healthy foods, therefore the environment is also sustainable. Though, farmers, especially smallholders needed knowledge and financial support during a transitional period from normal practices to agroecological practices towards resiliency of AE practices, climate change and markets.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៨-៩ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ កន្លងទៅនេះក្នុងនាមជាអ្នកសម្របសម្រួលគោលនយោបាយថ្នាក់ជាតិនៃបណ្តាញកសិអេកូឡូស៊ី (ALiSEA) នៅកម្ពុជា មកពីសមាគមសហព័ន្ធកសិករកម្ពុជានៃអ្នកផលិតកសិកម្ម (CFAP) យើងមានឱកាសបង្ហាញសមិទ្ធិផលរយៈពេលប្រាំឆ្នាំរបស់យើងទៅកាន់សិក្ខាសាលាចុងក្រោយនៃគម្រោងកសិអេកូឡូស៊ី និងប្រព័ន្ធស្បៀងអាហារសុវត្ថិភាព (ASSET) ដែលបានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅនៅខេត្តបាត់ដំបង ពាយព្យនៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។
ដៃគូ គម្រោងកសិអេកូឡូស៊ី និងប្រព័ន្ធស្បៀងអាហារសុវត្ថិភាព (ASSET) និងភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធដូចជា CASIC-MAFF, EU, AFD, FFEM, GRET, CIRAD, PDAFF-PVH, PDAFF-BTB, ALiSEA រួមទាំងអង្គការកសិករ អាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន អ្នកផ្តល់សេវាកម្ម និងអង្គការនានា មានឱកាស រៀនពីសមិទ្ធិផលនៃគម្រោងនេះផងដែរ។ ក្រៅពីបទបង្ហាញដែលបានធ្វើឡើងដោយភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធសំខាន់ៗ អ្នកចូលរួមក៏មានឱកាសបានទស្សនាការអនុវត្តន៍កសិកម្មនៅវាលស្រែបង្ហាញដែលកសិករដាំដុះដំណាំគ្របដី ជាមួយដំណាំសំខាន់ៗដូចជា ពោត ស្វាយ មៀន និងដំឡូងមី ដើម្បីបង្កើនគុណភាពដីមានជីជាតិល្អដោយមិនចាំបាច់ចំណាយប្រាក់ទិញជីគីមី។
តើអ្វីជាមរតកនៃគម្រោងនេះ? កសិករនៅបន្តអនុវត្ត និងរីកចម្រើនតាមរយៈការអនុវត្តន៍កសិកម្មតាមបែបកសិអេកូឡូស៊ី ដើម្បីបង្កើនគុណភាពដីតាមបែបធម្មជាតិ សម្រាប់ជាអាហារប្រកបដោយសុវត្ថិភាព មានជីវជាតិ អាហាររូបត្ថម្ភ និងសុខភាពល្អដល់អ្នកបរិភោគ។ លើសពីនេះក៏ ជួយដល់បរិស្ថាន មាននិរន្តរភាពផងដែរ។ ទោះបីជាយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ កសិករ ជាពិសេស កសិករអ្នកផលិតខ្នាតតូចគឺត្រូវការចំណេះដឹង និងការគាំទ្រផ្នែកហិរញ្ញវត្ថុក្នុងអំឡុងពេលអន្តរកាលពី ការអនុវត្តន៍តាមបែបធម្មតាទៅជាការអនុវត្តន៍កសិកម្មតាមបែបកសិអេកូឡូស៊ី ឆ្ពោះទៅរកភាពធន់នៃការអនុវត្តន៍កសិអេកូឡូស៊ី AE ភាពធន់ទៅនឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងភាពធន់ទៅនឹងទីផ្សារនាពេលអនាគត។
