ASIA-PACIFIC FORUM FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (APFSD) OF THE UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE CENTER IN BANGKOK, THAILAND!

The Asia-Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development (APFSD) was held from 28 to 30 March 2023 at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand. A number of events were held at the Asia-Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development (APFSD), with the Agroecology Learning Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) Boards and Coordinators from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam invited to pre-register online and in person-meetings.

Participation in the APFSD provides an opportunity for ALiSEA Boards and Regional Policy Coordinators to explore and strengthen communication networks to link existing national and regional forum policy dialogues such as LICA in Lao PDR and CASIC in Cambodia for both forums. The participation aimed to connect with ASEAN as a whole in the future.

The APFSD is an annual intergovernmental forum aimed at monitoring and overseeing the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations Sustainable Development (SDG). APFSD 2023 is organized under the theme “Improving the return of Kovid 19 virus (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development at all levels in Asia and the Pacific”.
