ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL DIALOGUE ON UN DECADE OF FAMILY FARMING: leveraging the role of family farming towards more inclusive and resilient food systems in response to crises held on 29 June, 2022 virtually. !
The Asia and Pacific Regional Dialogue on UNDFF has encouraged multi speakers in the APR from government, civil society organizations, partners and UN agencies through their great intervention of their points of views and presentations aimed at sharing information, action plans, concerns, knowledge, experiences and challenges of the family farmers to meet the global goal by 2028 while increased threats for family farmers and farming communities more and more from climate change to covid-19 and war in Ukraine. Climate change, covid-19 pandemic and regional conflict Ukraine and Russia caused further problems heavily for family farmers to contribute to food security, nutrition and sustained agriculture in the food systems and value chain and more than our realizations.
From a farmer side, we would valuate highly for importance of the APR Dialogue on UNDFF and wished that partnership amongst multi stakeholders (Government, Civil society organizations, Partners and UN agencies) in the food systems and value chains would accelerate the programme to meet the goal by 2028.
