Chhun Sambath (He/him)

I was born in January 1996 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Svay Rieng University in 2020. Through youth network of the Cambodian Farmer Federation Association of Agricultural Producers – CFAP Cambodia I was selected to participate in a training course on Agricultural Cooperative Management and Development and Organic Farming at the Institute for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in Asia (IDACA), Japan from March 6 to 30, 2023.

Currently, I work part-time for the Cambodian Farmer Federation Association of Agricultural Producers (CFAP Cambodia) as an administrative and accounting assistant. I coordinate administration, finance and local communication. I also participate in preparing the annual work plan and budget (AWPB), liaise with members’ organizations, cooperatives and relevant stakeholders including local authorities and government. Additionally, I provide member organizations with training, business matching and consultation on financial reporting.

From 2012 to 2020 I worked with the rural communities and youth network to promote the rural development and social wellbeing for youth, awareness raising about the impacts of domestic violence to the community through radio broadcasting and home-visit counseling in collaboration with the local authorities with support from ChildFund Cambodia. At the same time, I also worked for KLNY company from 2018 to 2022 with the following responsibilities: – Overseeing human resources, managing customer orders and goods receiving, products storage and inventory management, invoicing and shipping and supply and inbound/outbound stock planning.
